Almanac

Almanac

AI agent builds a Figma-style design-review app with pin comments from scratch using a single recipe file.

Almanac is a design-review tool that works like Figma's commenting feature: collaborators open a web page, drop pin-anchored comments directly on rendered HTML designs, and have threaded conversations right there on the artifact. It supports emoji reactions, resolving threads, live presence, and a special API lane for AI reviewers. The repository contains no application code—only a SEED.md recipe that tells an AI coding agent how to build the entire app from scratch. The seed has been independently verified with 27/27 passing checks.

How to use Almanac?

Install the seed by running the provided curl command in your terminal, which downloads and executes the seed recipe. The AI coding agent will then read the SEED.md file, install dependencies, write the code, and run the acceptance checks automatically. You can also verify the seed using the optional Docker-based stranger-test script. No external services or production credentials are required.
